We are looking for final-year students and recent graduates with the qualifications, curiosity and drive to begin their careers with a leading global industrial technology company.
Successful applicants will be invited to an immersive Recruitment Day on Saturday, 31 October 2026. You will have the opportunity to demonstrate your capabilities beyond your CV, participate in practical assessments and rapid-fire interviews, meet the Atlas Copco team and experience the company’s culture firsthand.

You should apply if you:
Are in your final year of study or graduated within the past four years.
Hold or are completing an engineering degree in one of the following fields:
Mechanical Engineering
Mechatronics Engineering
Industrial Engineering
Automation Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Electronic Engineering
Also hold or are completing a degree or diploma in Marketing.
Are based in Gauteng or willing to relocate.
Hold a valid driver’s licence.
Communicate confidently in English.
Are proficient in Microsoft Office.
Are organised, responsive and comfortable engaging with customers.
Are commercially curious and interested in technical products and solutions.
Are motivated by targets, learning and measurable results.

Your journey to Recruitment Day
1. Apply - before 25 October
Complete your online application and submit all required documents by 6:00 PM on Sunday, 25 October 2026.
2. Complete the online assessments - before 25 October
Eligible applicants will be invited to complete online logic and personality assessments. Because the selection period is short, complete your assessment as soon as you receive it.
3. Receive your invitation - 26 October
Candidates who perform strongly and meet the role requirements will be considered for an invitation to the Atlas Copco Intern Recruitment Day.
4. Attend Recruitment Day - 31 October
Invited candidates will attend a bespoke Recruitment Day at Atlas Copco’s head office in Jetpark, Boksburg, on Saturday, 31 October 2026. The experience will include a range of assessments, opportunities to meet the Atlas Copco team and rapid-fire interviews.
5. Complete a final fit interview - first week of November
Candidates selected after Recruitment Day may be invited to a final in person interview with the Atlas Copco team.
6. Receive an offer - 6 November
Successful candidates may receive a formal internship offer from Atlas Copco.
7. Begin your career - January 2027
Successful interns are expected to join Atlas Copco in January 2027.
